The Sound of Their Wings

Silent seashore
Swallowing
Sparrows
Tonight we cross the wretched narrows
Of tepid water caked with foam
And do we seek with eyes alone?
Their trilling call shall guide us home.

Spurious
Spare
Sparse
Sparrows
Take me to the shining gallows
With wings aflutter,
Hearts aflame,
No filthy mortal can make us tame.

And we are silent,
A spurious reprieve
Against the seashore's windswept plain.
Prayers so spare
Swallowing curses unresolved
And sparse remorse to the
Sparrow's call.

Day 2: Sparrows in free verse. Actually, I think I made a new form of poetry ^_^" oops.

Fluer de Leuer

I have a guest! I have a guest, I do solemnly swear!
This guest I'll test upon entrance where their presence is of great request
Over here my dear, a cauldron of iron in which I brew me stew
And shine thine eyes toward the northern side, those vines 'twas me that drew
Sweet lassie, you're classy
Sit down, may I ask ye to be inclined to stay
The goods, the bad. Just unpack your bags
No more to guess today

A Damp Loop

Tonight the rain comes
Without fanfare
And we sleep as
The rain comes
To wash sins away
From a broken city
Where the rain comes
Without fanfare.

Day 1: Anaphora - repetition of a word or phrase.
